Visiting, accessing the website Recko.io (“Website”) or using the software (“Recko”), together, the “Platform”, may require you to provide us with your or third party data.

If you visit or use the Platform, it would mean that you confirm your acceptance of our policies on collecting, storing and using your information. We encourage you to read these terms and familiarize yourself with our practices.

In our endeavour to make your life easier and better, we continue to make changes to the platform. We will post these changes on this page. Please keep visiting us on this page to know more about these changes.

As you go through the platform, you will come across a lot of choices, you may or may not agree to them. However, in case you do not agree with the said choices you will not be able to use the platform.

Throughout this policy document and on the platform we will use some terms like “Us”, “We”, or the “Company”, all of these refer to Recko Inc. When we say “you” or “User”, we refer to you, a natural or legal person who may be a visitor or registered User or end user on the Platform, “your Customer” will mean any customer of yours.

  1. Collection of Information

    1. Inorder to visit the Recko platform, you do not need to register with us. But our servers may automatically collect the following information such as:

      • Your IP address;
      • The website from which you were referred to our website (e.g. if you followed a link);
      • The webpages you are visiting on our website;
      • The browser you are using and its display settings;
      • Your operating system;
      • The date and duration of your visit.
    2. For us to provide you with our services as a registered user, we will need the following information-

      • Name, e-mail, address, mobile number, company name, GST Number and other profile data that you may have chosen to provide on the platform for the purpose of registration on the platform;
      • Any documents that may be required for us to provide our services. Any information that you enter onto the Platform, including, corporate entity details, contact details of the person in charge for the corporate entity like address, phone number, email id, login details.
      • Even if you are not a registered user, we may collect information if a registered user has provided us with your information to facilitate services.
    3. When you use our services, you will have to enter the following information onto the Platform:

      • Your email id
      • Your IP address
      • The webpages you are visiting on the application hosted at *.recko.io.
      • The browser you are using and its display settings;
      • Your operating system;
      • The date and duration of your visit.
    4. During the registration process, we indicate the fields that are mandatorily required to be filled and fields that are optional. The Users may decide whether or not to provide optional data to us. You may choose not to submit any/all of such information, in which case you must understand that we may not be able to provide all/some services, without any liability. Any information provided by you, if it is freely available and/or accessible in the public domain, will not be considered as sensitive and confidential.

    5. You must always provide information that you are duly authorized to provide, on the Platform. If you need to input your information from a third party, you must provide the necessary authorizations to enable us to retrieve such information from a third party.

    6. The Platform does not need your Customer information. You may still upload such information. We will not use such information, except to store and use it as per this Privacy Policy. You will continue to be responsible for the security, integrity and authorized use of the your Customer’s information, and obtaining any consents and permissions required for the collection, processing and use of such information.

    7. Our Website uses “cookies” on certain pages to help analyse our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer's hard drive while you are viewing the Website. We offer certain features that are only available through the use of a “cookie”. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Platform. Additionally, you may encounter “cookies” or other similar devices on certain pages of the Website that are placed by third parties. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.

  2. Additional Information

    When you use our services, we may collect some additional information about you, with your permission, in the following general categories:

    1. Location Information: When you use the Platform through a telecommunication device, we collect your location data. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.
    2. Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile/hardware device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network
  3. Use of Your Information

    We will use your information in one or more of the circumstances below-

    1. To comply with the legal process nationally or internationally;

    2. To enforce the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy;

    3. To respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties;\

    4. To protect the rights, property or personal safety of the Company, its Users and the public;

    7. To improve our products and services or provide new products and services;

    8. To send promotional emails or messages about special offers or other information which We think you may find interesting;

    9. To possibly customize the website, or our services according to your interests/requirements;

    10. Resolve disputes that may arise with the use of our services, measure consumer interest in our services, detect and protect Us against error, fraud and other criminal activity;

    11. We identify and use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer Our Platform;

    12. To identify you through your IP address and to gather broad demographic information;

    13. To do internal research on our Users' demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve our Users. This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis.

  4. Sharing of Information

    1. We may share your information with our affiliate and group companies and their respective officers and employees. We may share your information with third party service providers, if required, for the purposes of providing the services. We receive from them their commitment to use the information to the best possible extent in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may also share your information with third parties you authorize, to receive your information from us.

    2. We may share your information with payment service providers in case we are using them for payment processing.

    3. If a court of law, law enforcement agency or regulatory body asks us to disclose information, we will comply with such a request. If in good faith we believe that we must enforce the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, or protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users or the general public, we may disclose any information to the law enforcement offices, third party rights owners, and/or others.

    4. We and our affiliates may transfer/share some or all of the collected information with another business entity should we (or our assets) plan to merge with, or be acquired by that business entity, or reorganization, amalgamation, restructuring of business.

    5. We may share your information with our sponsors, and/or business partners. Your information could be shared so that you may receive newsletters, offers, information about new services, and other information, if applicable. The information collected from you and other users may be analysed in different manners.

  5. Updating Information

    We shall make, efforts to provide you access to your information, upon request from you, and shall further ensure that any information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected, subject to any requirement for such information to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may ask you to identify yourself and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonable or extremely impractical, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others. Even after you delete your information, residual copies may remain in our backup systems.

  6. Information Safety

    1. All information is saved/stored on servers or our cloud database, which are secured with passwords and pins to ensure no unauthorised person has access to it. We use the best possible cloud servers in a continued effort to provide you with the best possible security standards. We however do not ourselves control the cloud servers. These cloud servers have their own privacy policies applicable to storage of data. The Platform permits downloads of reports/results from the use of the Platform. You are encouraged to maintain backup of such reports and results.

    2. We adhere to strict security guidelines protecting against unauthorized access of your information. We use generally accepted industry standards to protect the User information submitted to us, both during transmission and upon receipt. User Information transmitted over the internet is protected by encryption, using the Secure Socket Layer(SSL) or equivalent protocols. However, you do understand that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We also cannot warrant that such user information may not be misused in the event our safeguards and protocols are breached by a malicious third-party.

    3. Any information you access is password protected and you must ensure you maintain the security of your password. Always log out once you have finished accessing the Platform. We are not liable to nor can we fully control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share your information.

  7. Third Party Links

    You may receive access to third party websites or links while using the Platform. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other platforms in order to provide advertisements about services of interest to you.

  8. Choice/Opt-Out

    1. We provide all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us on behalf of our partners, and from us in general, after providing us with personal details. If you want to remove your contact information from all lists and newsletters, please contact saurya@recko.io

    2. If you choose to unsubscribe from the Platform or delete any or all of your information, you may send an email to saurya@recko.io. Please note, we may still retain some information, documents, and record of transactions as required by any law, contract or policy applicable to Us.
